ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
\n

The purpose of the study was to study and investigate the\u00a0 \u00a0personality characteristics of state level gymnasts\u00a0 of Chhattisgarh. One hundred (Sixty males and Forty females) gymnasts were randomly selected out of total participated gymnasts in the state school gymnastic\u00a0 competition to serve as the subjects for this study. Eysenck’s Personality Questionnaire-R ( E.P.Q.-R) prepared by Eysenck and .Eysenck (1975) was selected to measure the four dimensions of personality of state level Gymnasts of Chhattisgarh. To assess the\u00a0\u00a0 personality characteristics\u00a0 of male and female Gymnasts of\u00a0 State, level, Means and Standard Deviations were computed. In order to find out the significant difference between male and female gymnasts\u00a0\u00a0 of state\u00a0 level on\u00a0 personality factors, t-ratio was computed. To check\u00a0 t- Ratio , level of significant was set at .05 level. The results of the study revealed that that\u00a0 Female gymnasts of chhattisgarh state were found less psychotic in nature, more extroverted, less neurotic in nature and\u00a0 social desirability than their counter parts.<\/p>\n
