For this purpose, \u00a0sixty college level sportsmen \u00a0who volunteered to participate in this study were randomly selected. The selected sportsmen were divided into two equal groups, namely experimental group and control group. Experimental group\u00a0 was given plyometric exercises and control group was not given any experimental treatment except of their regular workouts. Experimental Group\u00a0\u00a0 performed plyometric drills i.e. Hopping on one leg:, Hopping, Bounding and Box Jumps and \u00a0\u00a0Depth Jumping<strong>. <\/strong>The standing broad jump was\u00a0 the criterion measures used to measure explosive strength of the college level sportsmen. The statistical analysis of data showed that there was significant effect of\u00a0 plyometric training on explosive strength.
