ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
\n

The\u00a0 purpose of study was to assess and compare the job satisfaction between male and female coaches of Uttar Pradesh. Thirty Five\u00a0 ( Males= 23, Females=12) coaches from colleges and universities located in\u00a0 urban\u00a0 region of Varanasi\u00a0 district . were selected as the sample\u00a0 for the study.\u00a0 The MSQ was used to measure job satisfaction. It is a gender neutral instrument that can be administered to either groups or to individuals. The instrument utilizes\u00a0 20- dimension Likert-type scale format and samples both intrinsic and extrinsic reinforcement dimensions with a total of 100 items. To assess the job satisfaction between male and female sport coaches,\u00a0 Mean, SD and t-ratio were computed for each dimension of MSQ. The results of study revealed that The majority of the male and female coaches from urban area\u00a0 were found\u00a0\u00a0 experienced in their job. \u00a0The coaches of different games and sports were\u00a0 found\u00a0 satisfied\u00a0 from their job in colleges and universities\u00a0 in urban area of Varanasi region. Significant differences\u00a0 were found between the\u00a0 male and female coaches on ability utilization, authority and social service dimensions of job satisfaction only.<\/p>\n
