ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
\n

The purpose of the study was to analyse\u00a0 and investigate\u00a0 the job satisfaction of sport coaches in the \u00a0urban Colleges and Universities of Varansi region. Thirty Five\u00a0 ( Males= 23, Females=12) coaches from colleges and universities located in\u00a0 urban\u00a0 region of Varanasi\u00a0 district . were selected as the sample\u00a0 for the study.\u00a0 The MSQ was used to measure job satisfaction. It is a gender neutral instrument that can be administered to either groups or to individuals. The instrument utilizes\u00a0 20- dimension Likert-type scale format and samples both intrinsic and extrinsic reinforcement dimensions with a total of 100 items. To assess the personal and educational characteristics of male and female coaches, the numbers and percentages of\u00a0 male and female\u00a0 coaches were disaggregated and tabulated by the\u00a0 five\u00a0 demographic variables. To assess the frequencies of response for each of the 5 response options on the MSQ Likert Scale were analyzed. The results of the study revealed that\u00a0 \u00a0coaches of different games and sports were satisfied in\u00a0 Policies,\u00a0 compensation, and responsibility and \u00a0slightly Satisfied in rest of the \u00a0dimensions of Job satisfaction.\u00a0 The\u00a0 sport coaches of\u00a0 both sex had\u00a0 a specialize diploma in coaching.<\/p>\n
