ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Obesity\u00a0 increases the risk for many chronic diseases among human beings. Waist to hip ratio is an important tool to\u00a0 determine the overall health risk. The\u00a0 more weight around their waist is related to heart disease and diabetes than those with weight around their hips. One of the simplest method\u00a0 of measuring body fatness is calculating waist- hip ratio or relationship between waist circumference and hip circumference. The purpose of the study was to investigate the anthropometric Characteristics of All Inter-university level male Netball players. For the purpose of study, One hundred and eighty (N=180) adult\u00a0 male Netball players from seventeen universities from different state of India were selected for the purpose of study. The Age, Height, Weight, BMI, Waist Circumference, Hip\u00a0 Circumference, Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR) and Waist to Height Ratio (WHtR)\u00a0 of Inter-university level male netball players were measuredfor this investigation. Descripritive statistics was comuted for collected data. The results of the study revealed that all the anthropometric characteristic examined of the netball male players were found healthy,\u00a0 without any cardiac risks and controlled.<\/p>\n
