ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
\n

The purpose of the study was to find out the job stress among physical education teachers belong to different type of higher seconadary schools of M.P. For the purpose of the study, 288 physical education teachers\u00a0 (M= 231, Female =57) from various government, aided, and unaided higher secondary schools were selected in Madhya Pradesh.\u00a0 The Employment Organization Sources of Stressors (EOSS) scale developed by Telaprolu and George (2005), was adopted in the study to measure the level of stress among the degree college teachers. To assess the occupational stress among physical education teachers of government, aided, and unaided higher secondary schools of M.P.,\u00a0 mean, standard deviation and F- ratio were\u00a0 employed. The results of the study revealed that Similarity was observed among physical education teachers in\u00a0 government, aided and unaided schools for occupational stress components of responsibility for persons, under participation, powerlessness and poor peer relations only. The physical education teachers working in government, aided, and unaided schools also\u00a0 experienced similar levels of stress in components of intrinsic impoverishment, low status, strenuous working conditions, un-profitability and total operational coping.<\/p>\n
